Northern Ireland - National Manifesto

Irish & British. Confident in the Union.

Public Notice – Your Voice Matters

Northern Ireland is already part of the United Kingdom and therefore enters the United Commonwealth Union (UCU) with full rights and protections. This manifesto sets out NI’s national direction inside the UCU and the benefits for families, workers, and coastal communities.

Constitutional Position & Guarantees

• NI retains its Irish and British inheritance and strong devolved leadership.
• Provision for an independent Prime Minister for Northern Ireland within the UCU framework—ensuring NI’s voice at Union level (especially if the Republic remains EU-aligned).
• Support for an all-island future by consent—the Republic’s choice remains its own.
• ECHR & Domestic Protections: We will withdraw from the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and replace it with a robust Union Bill of Rights / NI Bill of Rights, guaranteeing free speech, due process, equal citizenship, property rights, and freedom of belief. Domestic courts—not foreign tribunals—will be the final arbiters of these rights

Tax & Work-Life Reforms (NI)

• Abolish VAT in NI and adopt the UCU simple sales tax at the point of sale (clear exemptions for essentials).
• Small-business simplification: one-page quarterly filing; standardised expense rules; average ~£2,000/year saved in accounting fees for small firms.
4-Day Week Option: Employers above a legislated minimum size threshold and operating a 10-hour trading day may move to a 4×10 schedule (40 hours over four days) with no pay cut; phased support available for eligible SMEs.
Family time & travel: Long-weekend flexibility encouraged; schools to allow term-time travel (up to 28 school days per year) outside protected qualification periods (GCSEs/A-levels) with head-teacher approval and catch-up plans.

Fisheries & Coastal Revival (NI)

Today, ~85% of vessels receive only ~5% of the catch. This ends in Northern Ireland.

Fair-Share Allocation:70%+ of catch rights for small vessels & family fishermen, rebuilding the local fleet and reviving coastal towns.

Mega Harbour Rebuild: Upgrade NI fishing harbours—piers, dredging, sea walls, ice plants, refrigerated storage, auction halls, repair slips, fuel & shore power, new processing lines.

High-Wage Coastal Jobs: Contracting and price-floor frameworks that keep value in NI, with export corridors to the wider UCU; fishing becomes a sought-after, highly paid trade again.

Fleet Modernisation & Skills: Grants/loans for, safer vessels; skipper & deckhand apprenticeships; marine-science partnerships for stock recovery.

Sustainability & Enforcement: Science-led quotas, selective gear, closed seasons where needed, full digital traceability, tough action on illegal fishing.

Security, Borders & Public Order

Union-aligned immigration rules (firm, fair, zero tolerance for abuse); biometrics and intelligence-led border management to protect communities and lawful migration.

Culture & Education

Christian heritage upheld in state education; private freedom of belief respected. High-standards Academy Campus model with STEM, trades, and arts pathways; open admissions preserved.

TAKING BACK OUR STREETS (LAW, RIGHTS & BORDERS)

Northern ireland is taking back her streets. No more shall any government have the ability to fill your streets with strangers, give away your homes and jobs, or lock you up for a tweet or for saying you love your land and your flag. No illegal immigrant shall remain on irish soil within 9 months of us taking office.

• Free-speech protections strengthened: no criminalisation for lawful patriotic expression.
• Community safety first: zero-tolerance for organised crime, trafficking, and violent disorder.
• Fast-track removals and firm deadlines for unlawful presence, with due process upheld.

Final Commitment

Northern Ireland will prosper as the Union’s Atlantic gateway—Irish and British, confident and secure—where fishing is restored, families enjoy lighter taxes and a 4-day option, patients receive world-class care, our streets and rights are protected, and a permanent link to Scotland accelerates trade and opportunity for the next generation.
